Refund Policy

Free trial

New subscriptions start with a free trial of 14 days. You won't be charged until the trial ends. Cancel any time during the trial and you won't be billed at all.

Cancelling your subscription

You can cancel at any time via in-app subscription management. Cancelling stops future billing — you keep full access until the end of the period you've already paid for; there's no immediate loss of access on cancellation.

Refunds

Because Stackyard apps is a low-cost digital subscription with a free trial that lets you evaluate the service before being charged, we don't generally offer refunds for completed billing periods once a charge has been made, except:

• Where required by law (see "Your statutory rights" below).
• Where a technical fault on our side meaningfully prevented you from using the Service for a significant part of a billing period — contact us and we'll review it.

AI credit top-ups

When you add credit to your AI balance, the amount is charged to your card immediately. Because credit doesn't expire and can be used at any time, top-ups are non-refundable once processed, except where required by law (see "Your statutory rights" below).

If you cancel your subscription, any AI credit you've already purchased remains on your account — it isn't forfeited, but you'll need an active subscription to use AI-powered apps again. Your balance is preserved for whenever you resubscribe.

Your statutory rights (UK)

If you're a consumer in the UK, the Consumer Contracts Regulations give you a 14-day cooling-off right to cancel a digital service contract for a full refund. Because our free trial already gives you access before any charge is made, using the Service during the trial does not itself waive this right — but starting to use paid access after the trial converts, with your consent, may affect your cooling-off right for that specific charge, in line with the Regulations. Nothing in this policy affects your other statutory rights as a consumer.
